This place is a neighborhood gem. They have almost everything. Bonus-they put on an addition that houses a sweets counter, rotisserie chicken and a sandwich station. They have daily shawarma specials. Delicious!

Came to this market in Rogers Park and was surprised how good things are. It has a lot of what you find in a typical grocery store. Devon Market is where to go to get the basics. Even so, it's locally owned. That's enough of a reason to buy from here over those. A place that's been here for quite awhile. It's been serving Rogers Park since 2001, being one of the bigger independent grocers. The majority of the stuff is the basics you can find in other places. One difference is the stuff here is all fresh. They personally inspect everything that comes to the store. A lot of it not only looks good, but tastes good. There's a pretty big produce section. Even with the high quality, the prices here are pretty affordable. They have a lot of cheaper specials, so be on the lookout for a few. Basically this is not the typical grocery store with the same boring crap. It's fresher and has better quality. The prices are cheaper than on much of the same types of stuff.

Community grocer that tries hard to have unique offerings and competitive prices. They succeed! The bakery has delicious offerings, but the star of that show is the shawarma sandwiches. Five bucks and some change for a wrap that is packed full and absolutely delicious, a little more for baguette sandwich. PHENOMENAL SANDWICH. Every spring I host a family dinner and the butcher counter gets me great brisket cuts, exactly as I order them. They are a real butcher that can work with you and get you what you need!

I like coming here and finding new drinks to try with my fiancee. They have good deals on wine too like 4 for $10, 5 for $20 etc. The radler grapefruit beer is a new favorite of mine!

Love this place . Everything is fresh, the staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are low compared to other big chain grocery stores. I noticed that they added a new bakery with coffee and they also serve fresh pizza as well. I will definitely recommend this place for your daily grocery shopping.

I live next to this store and often go there for groceries. The store is good, it has everything you need, there are even some products that you cannot find in other stores. I really like their baked goods, especially the "Honey cake and Napoleon" cakes, they are very tasty and fresh, and they also have other flavors of cakes, I recommend you try them. I only buy caviar here because their caviar is the most delicious. They have some types of red caviar that are very tasty and the quality is good. I also like the fact that there are constantly deep discounts on different categories of goods!!! This is very cool, I recommend it!...

The first time I heard about Chicago & The Ottoman Empire was when I read Devil in the White City by Erik Larsen. The second is in every corner of Devon Market. Best quality of fruit, supplies for making recipes passed down and learned as I searched for what it means to be a member of my family. Probably one of my favorite places in the whole city.
